Brendan Morse is a professional botanist-ecologist and grower with over 20 years experience across the realms of garden design and management, interpretive ecology, nature conservation, environmental management, and sustainability education for both children and adults.

Permaculture is a worldwide sustainability movement and a design ethic initiated by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in the late 1970s.
In my own words, Permaculture is a systematic approach to the design and establishment of permanent human culture through the implementation of resilient and restorative practices. It is founded on ecological principles and systems thinking with the goal of empowering human communities to understand, interpret and work within natural systems for the benefit of earth, all living things, and humanity.
